It's a 90 MB file. I know it's too much for a 2.5 minutes poor quality video, but I couldn't make it shorter. The good side is that it's a VOB file, ready to burn to a DVD if you want.

I don't know what it is the reputation of Petkovic in Europe, but here in Brazil he is considered a fantastic player. People use to say, as a joke, that Serbia probably has the best national team in the world, since they don't need Petkovic. He has been playing in Brazil for several years now, with huge success and was considered the third best player in Brazil league in 2005.
Djordjevic is a total mistery to me. I've never heard about him before he joined Fluminense, and has played only a few minutes here. Do you consider him a good player?

Peuplez l'utilisation de dire, comme plaisanterie, que la Serbie a probablement la meilleure équipe nationale dans le monde, puisqu'ils n'ont pas besoin de Petkovic. Il avait joué au Brésil pendant plusieurs années maintenant, avec le succès énorme et a été considéré le troisième meilleur joueur dans la ligue du Brésil en 2005. That team never won a Brazilian league. Can you believe that? Only Rio de Janeiro state championships, which were also very important at that time.
Anyway, I envy you for watching Torneio de Paris 1976. That's the year I was born. People use to say here that Fluminense performed specially well at that tournament, and the french audience literally went nuts.

Gabriel had a spetacular season at Fluminense in 2005. Now he is playing at Malaga I think. I heard he is not doing well. He's a great player, no doubt about it. But you know, there are some brazilian players that don't adapt in Europe.

Marcinho Guerreiro (Guerreiro = warrior in portuguese) is very eficient at defense only. If you are looking for a defense mid-fielder, he may be the one. Limited skills though.
The other Marcinho is a fast, skilled forward. Not great, but a good player. He did very well at Sao Caetano, a small team, but now is doing ok only at Palmeiras, a much bigger and importante team.

This Torneio de Paris was an eye-opening for me (I certainly was one of those nut fans in Parc des Princes) and I even met the players at their hotel -poor Dirceu offered me his Flu jersey ...since that date I support Fluminense more than any other brasilian teams. I am just sorry that despite being the best in Rio (30 titles) they never really confirmed in Brasil (only 1 title I think) or in South America...

Thanks for the info on both Marcinhos...it looks like none of them would make the OM fans dream much ...Since Paulo Cesar (my second hero for the 70's), Mozer (although he came with a Flamengo background, this player is a 'monument' for OM fans) and more recently Sonny Anderson, l'Olympique has been a joke concerning its brasilian players...to name a few, we have had (short transits for most) Ferreira (right wing defender, in the current team, you wonder if he really comes from the country of Nilton Santos, Carlos Alberto, Nelinho, Cicinho and the likes), Leozinho (right wing defender, back to Flamengo as we understand, never made it to team A), Costa (defense mid-fielder, a big disapointment from last year now at Espanyol in Spain - just won the spanish cup), Fernando (the brasilian merguez, apparently doing well at Internacional RS, slow and hopeless at l'OM), Dill (hopeless forward, now in a second zone team in Portugal), Marcelinho (hopeless with us, doing well at Herta Berlin), who else ? yes Edson, right wing defender, scored a golazo then disapeared....:vod: I think most of us here are eager to see a really good brasilian player but our managers keep being blind (at the opposite Lyon has Cris, Juninho, Fred and even owns Nilmar )
...so Joaozinho if you hear of young (thus not too dear) talented players (not at Flu indeed), please let us and we'll try to move the message accross to our blind men

Marcinho Guerreiro est réputé violent, brouillon et peu technique.
Effectivement, les dirigeants de Palmeiras veulent s'en débarrasser.

Néanmoins, ses caractéristiques ne me semblent pas ininteressantes pour un club européen. Il est bagarreur, possède une très bonne condition physique et peu jouer aussi bien en défense centrale qu'au milieu. Vous pouvez le comparer à Gattuso dans son style de jeu.

Rappelez-vous que Cris avait connu le même sort avec Cruzeiro. Il s'en était débarrasé en le bradant à Leverkusen en 2003 avant de le reprendre ..On connait la suite!

J'ai déja vu joué Marcinho Guerreiro au stade Parque Antartica et c'est surtout sa combativité qui m'a séduit.
